Following the success of the summit, the network expanded its vision, leading to the 2013 Child Adoption Conference organized by the Child Survival Centre, which reinforced its commitment to child protection and family-based care. These efforts culminated in the formal registration of ACCA in October 2017 as a non-profit under Kenyan law. Today, ACCA is a dynamic consortium of over 20 NGOs working to make Kenya a safe, nurturing place for all children, guided by international treaties, the Constitution of Kenya 2010, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. We champion policies and practices that uphold the best interests of children, ensuring they grow up in loving, supportive families.
